Again, I'm posting while on break at work. I just started a new hobby...well, I bought the supplies anyway. I am doing the caricature mother-to-be thing and starting to knit! No booties, but I am doing a hat, since Baby Boy Hartman will be born in the winter. I went to this knitting store on my lunch break, and $27 later I walked out with the needles, pattern and yarn for a little blue stocking cap! So, we'll see how it goes. My co-workers are going to teach me how. I think it will be fun, but boy, $27 for a hat! Maybe I'll make more and make it worth it!

I just noticed that it says I published my last entry at 7:38am--yikes! Lest you think they work us to the bone here at the library, the correct time is actually 3 hours later. That probably goes for Matt's posting, too!

hi from the stacks

Happy Saturday to everyone (well, except Ann M. in England--happy Sunday?). It is a beautiful day outside, but I am inside the library working. I am supposed to say that it is even more beautiful in here, but, um...yeah. No, really, I still love working here and my co-workers are lots of fun, especially on Saturdays, and the patrons seem a bit more laid back, too.
I am trying to think of something fun to do tonight after dinner with Matt and Elizabeth (Matt's sister who is living with us for the summer, in case you didn't know)--any ideas? Anyone game?
